REPORT ON SPORT FOR 2014
1. Colour Athletics
- Our colour athletics took place on 26 January 2011 at the Zwelihle Stadium.
- We had red, blue , white and yellow house competing for their honour.
- The results were as follow: White House : 54 points , Yellow House : 50 points , Red House: 49 points & Blue House : 41 points.
- White House won the competition.
- It was a very fun filled day.
2. Walker Bay Inter- School Athletic Meeting:
- This annual event was held at Hermanus Primary School on Friday, 4 February 2011.
- Our school participated in different athletic events.
- The follow 5 learners did very well at this event and they went to represent the South Boland Team in Grabouw on 12 February 2011:
1.Lebohang Makae
2.Busang Makae
3.Lucky Nkanunu
4.Khanyile Nonqayi
5.Siphosetu Ngakanani - The athletes and the spectators enjoyed this event thoroughly.

3. Soccer Matches played:
- This year we played lots of friendly matches against Hawston Primary and Zwelihle Primary.
- Our school played matches in the SASFA Overberg League.
- Our first match for the league was against Zwelihle Primary on 27 July at the Zwelihle Stadium. We lost the game 2: 1- the learners still enjoyed themselves.
- Our second match for the league was against De Bron Primary on 17 August at the Stanford Stadium. We lost the game 3: 2- after this game it came to our knowledge that they played with an older player, so this game was not won fair and square by them.
- Our third match for the league was against Hawston Primary on 24 August at the Hawston Stadium. We won the game 5: 1- the learners still enjoyed themselves and celebrated their victory.
- In all the other league games our learners did their best.
- Some of the competitions that our under 14 boys participated in was the Milo competition.
- Our under 13 girls also participated in a play –offs for the Department of Education & Sport on Saturday 13 August at the Gansbaai Stadium.- During this event they Were given free soccer kit and soccer balls. This game was incorporated with a workshop on Young Women and their choices.
- Our under 13 girls soccer team also participated at the Overstrand Municipality Sports Day for Women on the 27th of August at Hawston Stadium.-At this event our girls walked away with the price for the best dressed team.
- ur school represented SASFA Overberg at the following competition.

4. Boxing:
- Our school is very excited about introducing boxing as a sport.
- A local professional boxer will start coaching our learners at our school.
- Lots of our boys and girls indicated that they would love do boxing as a sport.
5. Cricket and rugby:
- Our school partnered with Adrian Kuiper ( Previous Springbok/Protea)cricket player for coaching purposes.
- He volunteered his services to us for the development of cricket and rugby at our school.
6. The Vision of the sport Committee:
- Our school’s Sport Committee’s dream is to have all the kinds of sport at our school.
- We will reach our goal through support.
